Belconnen
Belconnen skatepark was completed in 1990. It will be 20 years old in 2010.

Users paint the bowl to maintain it, but the current Government policy is to gerny any “graffiti” off which has lead to degredation of the concrete.
The bowl is iconic and has been home to one of Australia’s longest running events, the “Belco Bowl Jam.”
Users also installed a block because of the lack of street elements that exist in the outdated facility.
Consultation has commenced about upgrading the park in the context of all the Emu bank work that is occurring.
